(Later, when Wis­ner went to work for the CIA as Deputy Direc­tor of Cen­tral Intel­li­gence, another Deputy Direc­tor, Hard­ing Jack­son, was also a for­mer part­ner in Carter, Led­yard and Mil­burn.)
